Police arrested six people in connection with the gang-rape of a 22-year-old indigenous woman at Nalpara village of Koyra in Khulna on Monday.
Rabiul Hossain, officer-in-charge of Koyra police station, said three people broke open the door of the woman's house in the small hours on Sunday and violated her.
The woman, a mother of a child, was alone in the house as her husband went out to work.
On information, police rescued the woman and detained six people for questioning.
