An inquiry committee has concluded that Assistant Headmaster Amodini Pal of Daul Barbakpur High School in Mohadevpur of Naogaon was framed in the hijab controversy.
The three-member committee, including Mohadevpur Upazila Livestock Officer Abdul Malek, on Monday submitted its report to the Upazila Nirbahi Officer over the assault of teachers and vandalism at the school on April 6.
The report states that some students were disciplined for not wearing school dress, not for wearing the hijab.
At the same time, the investigation committee has found evidence that some teachers of the school and members of the management committee spread rumors of hijab and incited the locals against the teacher due to an internal conflict.
