In Pictures: Baruni Puja celebrated in Gopalganj

Residents of Gopalganj’s Kashiani upazila have celebrated the Baruni Puja, one of the most celebrated festivals of the Hindu community. On Wednesday, at least a million believers from Bangladesh, India and Nepal took part in the celebrations. A five-day Mahabaruni fair also began in Gopalganj. People thronged the fair, which had not been held for the last two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
