President M Abdul Hamid will go to his native district Kishoreganj on Sunday on a five-day visit to attend several programs and oversee different development projects there.
"The president will leave for Kishoreganj on March 27 (Sunday) afternoon on a five-day visit. He will address several gatherings and hold view-exchange meetings with a cross-section of people and different professional bodies in the town," President’s Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin told BSS on Friday.
President Hamid is scheduled to open the "Third National Disaster Management Scout Camp" at Muktijoddha Abdul Haque Government Degree College on Monday afternoon.
Besides, he will inaugurate the construction work of "Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centre" at Kishoreganj Sadar on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Bangabhaban's spokesman, the president will also hold a series of view-exchange-meetings at different upazilas with the locals, public representatives and different professional bodies.
The head of the state is expected to return to Dhaka on Thursday afternoon.
