In pictures: Mujib Mela held in Tungipara

A folk fair called the Mujib Mela is being held in Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's home town of Tungipara, Gopalganj to commemorate the birth centenary of the Father of the Nation. The fair started on Monday and will continue till March 26.

The fair was jointly organized by the National Implementation Committee, Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy, Gopalganj District Administration, and Bangladesh Folk and Crafts Foundation.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated the fair on March 17 in front of the Father of the Nation Samadhi-Soudha Complex at the event “Hridoye Pitribhumi”.
