An unidentified man was killed while walking along a rail crossing in Tangail’s Bhuapur.
The incident was reported from the upazila’s Ghonapara rail crossing on Saturday morning, confirmed Bhuapur Police OC Abdul Wahab.
The deceased was walking along the rail-line when a Jamalpur-bound train hit him, he said.
The man died on spot, the OC said, adding that railway police have been informed of the matter.
