A man was killed and 10 others were injured in a clash between two groups of villagers over land dispute in Gangni Upazila of Faridpur on Friday.
The deceased was identified as Sadek Ali, 60.
Locals said Khairul Islam and Bishu Malthi of Akubpur village had been in a long-running dispute with Matiar Rahman over ownership of a 16-bigha land.
Supporters of both groups locked in a clash with locally-made weapons on Friday morning, leaving Sadek Ali dead and 10 others injured, said Officer-in-Charge of Gangni police station Abdur Razzak.
The injured were rushed to Gangni Upazila Health Complex and Kushtia Medical College Hospital.
