University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) EMBA Program on Tuesday organized a webinar titled “Future of Capital Markets in Bangladesh”.
The session featured Prof Imran Rahman, vice chancellor of ULAB, Md Moniruzzaman, managing director of IDLC Investment Ltd, Asif Khan, managing partner of EDGE Research and Consulting Limited, read a press release.
It was moderated by Associate Prof Sajid Amit, director of ULAB’s EMBA Program.
The panelists discussed the positive aspects of market performance, the increasing interest of a new breed of sophisticated investors, the diversity of products and ways of increasing investor literacy.
The discussion centred on job prospects in capital markets and attaining suitable positions.
Following the discussion, there was a question and answer session where the audience asked questions to the expert panelists on diverse topics related to the market.
Sajid Amit wrapped up the event thanking the experts and online participants.
The event is a regular part of ULAB EMBA Program’s outreach activities to bridge the gap between academia and industry.
