After searching for nearly four weeks for a missing 8-year-old Chuadanga boy, police said they have found his body buried in a local graveyard.
Abu Huraira, a third-grader at the Chuadanga VJ Govt High School, went missing on January 19 after he left home to take tuitions, OC Md Mohsin of the Chuadanga Sadar police station told local reporters on Monday.
“He left to take tuitions at one Ranju Haque’s home, but went missing. When Rajnu was asked by locals, he said the boy never came. The boy’s schoolbag was later found at Ranju’s home” he said.

The boy’s father filed a missing report with the police the same day before starting a case against Ranju and his brother Manju on January 25, following which the siblings were arrested.
A third suspect was detained following intelligence input, said the police officer. “Based on information gleaned from him, the decomposed body of the boy was found buried at a local graveyard around 2am on Monday,” said OC Mohsin.
Police suspect the boy was murdered and buried the same day he went missing.
