Police arrested two men in a case filed over the rape of two minor girls in Chittagong's Satkania upazila on Saturday morning.
The arrestees were identified as Mizba Uddin, 20, and Md Alamgir, 21.
Satkania police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abdul Jalil said the accused were arrested from Eochia and Kanchana unions of the upazila.
"We have sent them to jail through court today (Saturday)," he added.
Plaintiff Nezam Uddin said: “My daughter, 12, and my sister-in-law, 14, went to a shop in Eochia union on February 8 to buy betel nuts when Mizba and Alamgir kidnapped them.”
Later, they raped and dumped them in the neighbourhood the next day, he added.
The victim’s father rescued the rape survivors and filed the case with the police.
