Bangladesh Coast Guard have found two more bodies of the fishermen who were reported missing after their vessel sank at the bay, on the fourth day of the rescue operation.
So far, six bodies were found, and eight are still missing, said OC Prahlad Chandra Roy of Dublar Char Forest camp.
On Monday, two bodies were recovered in the Dublarchar area, and another two bodies were found on Sunday.
Members of Coast Guard, Forest Department officials, local Fishing Trawler Owners' Association and the Sundarbans Dublarchar Fishermen Group are still looking for the missing victims, said the OC.
On February 4, at least 32 fishing trawlers including 12 of Barguna, Pirojpur and 20 of Bagerhat, capsized due to storms in different parts of the Bay of Bengal adjacent to the Sundarbans.
