Ruling Awami League leaders Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya and Qamrul Islam have been invited to the party’s Presidium meeting scheduled for Tuesday evening.
Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina nominated Mofazzal Chowdhury Maya and Qamrul Islam as members of the Presidium during the party's national council in December, 2019, Office Secretary Biplab Barua said in a statement on Monday.
The ruling party’s apex body will meet at party chief and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s official Ganabhaban residence at 4pm.
Maya and Kamrul will be attending the meeting for the first time, they both confirmed to Dhaka Tribune.
