At least three people were killed and 10 injured in a three-way collision involving a bus and two trucks in Cox’s Bazar.
The incident was reported around 12:15am on Sunday on the Chittagong-Cox’s Bazar Highway at Chakaria upazila, said OC Md Osman Gani of Chakaria police station.
The Chittagong-bound bus and a salt-laden pickup van were rammed head-on by a small truck.
“Three people died on the spot,” he added.
The deceased have been identified as Bazlul Haque, 40, the driver of the bus, Alal, the bus helper and Khaled, 35, driver of the pickup van.
The injured are currently being treated at the Chakaria Upazila Health Complex and Malumghat Memorial Christian Hospital.
