A bus ran over and killed two people on a motorcycle in Kulaura Upazila of Moulvibazar on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Bulbul Ahmed, 40, and Fakhar Uddin, 28.
Police and local people said the accident took place at around 4:30pm when the bus ran over the motorcycle in the tea garden area of Rajnagar.
A team of nearby fire service department rushed to the spot and took the duo to Kulaura Upazila Health Complex where doctor on duty declared them dead.
Abdur Rahim, sub-inspector (SI) of Kulaura police station said that they managed to seize the bus.
The bodies were sent to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy.
