Alamgir Kabir who went viral on social media after putting up an poster seeking food in exchange for tuitions, got a job at Shwapno Super Shop in Bogra.
The 32-year-old, frustrated with failing to secure a job reportedly put up the poster, hoping to get two meals a day.
However, the poster soon went viral prompting the local police to look for him.
Alamgir Kabir is a Political Science graduate from Government Azizul Haque College and a resident of the city’s Zahurulnagar.
According to Bogra Sadar Police OC Selim Reza, police looked for Alamgir due to humanitarian reasons.
Alamgir was called into the office of Bogra Superintendent of Police Sudip Kumar Chakroborty on Wednesday afternoon.
After a long conversation with the man they were able to arrange an employment for Alamgir at Shwapno Super Shop, SP Chakroborty told Dhaka Tribune.
According to Alamgir, he resorted to putting up the poster as he was having difficulty getting three meals a day.
