The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained 22 people while they were trying to enter India through the Maheshpur border in Jhenaidah without valid documents on Saturday.
Maheshpur BGB-58 battalion members detained 13 men, 4 women and 5 children from a mahogany garden in Kanaidanga village under Jadavpur border outpost, said battalion Additional Director Taslim Mohammad Tareq.
A case was filed against them at Maheshpur police station.
