At least two people have been killed in a three-way collision involving a bus, a truck and a covered van in Natore.
Five others were in the road crash reported in the early hours of Wednesday at Takai in the Natore Sadar upazila, reports UNB.
The dead victims have been identified as the truck’s driver Abu Musa from Jhenidah, and Kushtia resident Asadul Haque, it said.
The wood-laden truck collided head-on with the bus on the Natore-Rajshahi Highway around 1.30am, said Senior Station Officer Akhtar Hamid Khan of the Natore Fire Service.
At the same time, a covered van veered out of control and crashed into the bus, he said before adding that two people died on the spot.
