Two people have died after a bus veered out of control and ran over them at Dhaka’s Gulistan.
The incident reported on Saturday near the toll plaza of the Mayor Hanif Flyover left at least three others injured, Fire Service spokesperson Md Shahjahan told the media.

“The incident was reported around 9.45am. The fire service found two people dead at the scene and three others were sent to the hospital,” he said.
The dead male victims are yet to be identified.
Police said that the Meghla Paribahan bus has been seized.
“The bus veered out of control as it was getting off the flyover and ran over two pedestrians,” said Duty Officer Nurul Islam of the Wari Police Station.
At least 10 passengers of the bus were also injured. Among them, six have been taken to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital, said Inspector Bacchu Mia of the DMCH police outpost.
