No patient diagnosed with Covid-19 died in Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) in the 24 hours till Thursday morning.
However, three people died with coronavirus symptoms during this period, confirmed Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon, a spokesperson of the Covid unit.
Of the deceased- all men, two hailed from Netrokona and one from Sherpur district.
In August, 419 people died of Covid-19 and its symptoms at MMCH while 482 others died in July.
Meanwhile, 147 patients are still undergoing treatment in the hospital, of whom 10 are in the intensive care unit, said the officials.
As many as 1,068 samples were screened at the hospital’s PCR lab during the same time, when 117 new cases were identified. said Civil Surgeon Mohammad Nazrul Islam.
