Police on Saturday detained 21 Rohingyas in Moulvibazar town for illegally entering Bangladesh from India.
They entered Bangladesh through the Prithimpasha border area of Kulaura upazila of Moulvibazar.
The Rohingyas were apprehended from the city's bus stand area at around 10:30am.
The detainees are, Md Shaker, 27, Laila Begum, 27, Nur Halima, 7, Nur Kamila, 6, Nur Samia, 4, Md Sofayed, 2, Md Nazmullah, 22, Shanu Ara, 20, Nasima, 3, Yusuf Ali, 28, Mustakim, 21, Islam Khatun, 49, Minar Nahar, 17, Md Yunus, 5, Rokeya Begum, 15, Joaber, 21, Monowara, 21, Md Umair, 9, Md Yahya, 25, Md Kamal, 20, Senowara Akhter, 18.

Moulvibazar Additional Superintendent of Police Shudarshan Kumar Ray said they were preparing to go to Cox's Bazar.
The detainees entered India at different times starting from 2014 but did not find shelter there and entered Bangladesh in the hope of staying safe.
"We are interrogating them. Details will be known after the interrogation. Some of them are children," Ray said.
The process of sending them to Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar was underway, he added.
