Fifteen more deaths were recorded at the Covid-19 unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) in the last 24 hours till Tuesday morning.
Of those deceased, five tested positive for Covid-19, eight had its symptoms and two others died after becoming negative for Covid-19.
Seven of them were aged above 61, five were 51 to 60, two were 41 to 50, and one was 21 to 30, RMCH Director Shamim Yazdani told Dhaka Tribune.
Among them, 10 were from Rajshahi, two from Natore, and one each from Naogaon, Pabna and Meherpur districts.
Yazdani said the hospital had counted a record number of 25 fatalities caused by Covid-19 on June 29 last since the pandemic began.

With the latest development, the overall death tally of Covid-19 patients at RMCH since July 1 now stands at 282 while 405 others died in June.
Sixty-one people were also admitted to the hospital’s Covid-19 unit in the last 24 hours till Friday morning, added the director.
Total 62 went home after recovering from the infectious disease during the same period.
Some 498 people are undergoing treatment at the hospital’s 454-bed Covid-19.
Meanwhile, the Covid-19 positivity rate continues to maintain an upward trend in the district. On Monday, 417 samples were tested, of which 145 were positive.
The infection rate increased to 34.77% from 25.85% the previous day.
