Police have recovered two decomposed bodies with slit throats from a brick kiln near Turag River in Gazipur’s Konabari area.
The bodies of the two men, wh were in their 30s and 40s, were recovered around 9:30pm on Wednesday.
However, their identities were not immediately known.
Confirming the matter, Konabari police station Inspector (investigation) Rafiqul Islam said some fishermen had found the bodies and informed them.

“When we recovered the bodies, they were covered with water hyacinth. Both their throats were slit and one had his legs tied with rope. Our preliminary suspicion is that they were killed a week ago," he said.
The bodies were later sent to the morgue of Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Medical College Hospital in Gazipur for autopsy.
Inspector Islam said legal action was being taken in this regard.
