Fourteen more people have died at the Covid-19 unit of Mymensingh Medical College and Hospital (MMCH) in the 24 hours to Friday morning.
Among them, seven tested positive for the virus while the rest had symptoms, said Dr Mohiuddin Khan Moon, a spokesperson of the Covid unit.

Meanwhile, 238 patients are still undergoing treatment in the hospital, of whom 13 are in the intensive care unit, said the officials.
As many as 621 samples were screened at the hospital’s PCR lab during the same time, when 147 new cases were identified, said Civil Surgeon Mohammad Nazrul Islam.
