A total of 42 people tested positive for coronavirus in the last 24 hours in the district after testing 227 samples at Bogra TMSS Medical College Hospital Covid-19 PCR laboratory and Mohammad Ali Hospital COVID-19 PCR testing centres.
The total number of infected persons in the district stood at 12,806 and the number of recovery cases stood at 12,101, said deputy civil surgeon Dr Mostafizur Rahman Tuhin.
Meanwhile, three people have died with coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours in the district, the deputy civil surgeon said.
A total of 334 persons have so far died of Covid-19 in the district, he added.
The health expert urged all to follow the health rules strictly and use masks to prevent the spread of the lethal virus.
He urged everyone to be more aware to prevent this lethal infection.
