A pregnant housewife has been raped in Sylhet’s Fenchuganj upazila.
The victim, aged around 23, was immediately taken to the One-Stop Crisis Centre at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
Three people including a neighbor were sued in a case filed over the incident. They are on the run, police say.

Md Safaet Hossain, officer-in-charge (OC) of Fenchuganj police station, said that the woman was asleep in her home at Purbergaon village in Ghilachhora area of Fenchuganj on Wednesday night.
A teenage boy living next door and two young men entered her room breaking open its gate. “Two of them tightly held her hands and legs, and the other forced himself on her,” the OC said.
At one stage, she started screaming, causing locals to come to her rescue. But the culprits managed to flee the scene.
The case was filed against the trio on Thursday.
