The online registration process for the Covid-19 vaccination of Rajshahi University (RU) students has begun.
All the students have been asked to include and register their names through the link of https://sites.ru.ac.bd/studentnid/login/php.
A notice signed by Prof Babul Islam, director of the university’s Information Communication and Technology Centre, on Monday urged the students to complete their registration process with their respective National Identity Card numbers by May 24 next.
Since March 17 last year, academic activities of the university remained shut for an indefinite period like other educational institutions around the country due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Until Monday, according to health authorities, Rajshahi Division saw 506 deaths from the deadly disease and 32,633 cases in total since March last year.
At the same time, a total of 29,353 people also made full recovery in the division.
On the other hand, a total of 355,973 people received the second dose of Covid-19 vaccines in the city and eight districts of Rajshahi Division since the nationwide second dose vaccination program began on April 8.
