After the child's mother filed a case on Monday, two teachers named Jonaid Ahmed and Alamgir were arrested and sent to the district jail, he added.

On Sunday evening, Fulmati went to the madrasa with food for Sabbir and could not find him. When Fulmati asked the madrasa’s headmaster Jonaid about Sabbir, Jonaid replied that Sabbir was given a leave.
