Two people have been killed and three injured in a head-on collision between a truck and CNG-run auto-rickshaw near Nogda bridge in Pubail area of Gazipur on Sunday morning.
The identities of the deceased – a man and a woman – have not yet been confirmed.
Joydebpur police station Pubail outpost in-charge, Rafiqul Islam, said that the deceased were passengers from the auto-rickshaw which was en route to Narayanganj.
Their bodies were sent to the Gazipur Shaheed Tajuddin Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
