Police on Sunday arrested a man with a video he filmed of a woman bathing in Joypurhat municipality town.
The arrested has been identified as Sohel Rana, son of Abed Ali from Pachurchak Shonarpara area in Amtali of Joypurhat Sadar upazila.
Prior to the arrest, the woman's husband filed a case against Sohel on the same day, at Joypurhat Sadar police station under the Pornography Control Act.
Joypurhat Sadar police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahriar Khan said Sohel Rana filmed the bathing woman through the ventilator of her bathroom window. He later made inappropriate proposals to her and threatened to release the video.
Police arrested Sohel with proof after the woman's husband filed a case, OC Shahariar Khan added.
