Three accused in a case filed over the gang rape of a woman at Murari Chand (MC) College gave their confessional statements before a Sylhet court on Friday.
They were prime accused of the incident Saifur Rahman, Arjun Lasker, and Robiul Islam.
Sylhet Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Ziadur Rahman recorded the statement of Arjun and Saifur under section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
Another accused, Robiul gave his statements before Judge Md Saifur Rahman of Metropolitan Magistrate Court-2 at night.
Amullya Bhusan Chowdhury, assistant commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police, confirmed the matter to Dhaka Tribune.
The court sent them back to jail after recording statements at 10:30pm.

Earlier, three of the six named accused- Arjun Laskar, Saifur Rahman, and Robiul Islam were produced before the court at around 3pm after their five-day remand ended.
The other named accused Mahbubur Rahman Rony, Mahfuzur Rahman Masum, and Tarekul Islam are currently on remand.
Two suspects - Rajon Miah and Md Ainuddin - were placed on five-day remand each after they were shown arrested by the Rapid Action Battalion as it found their involvement in the incident.
The husband of the victim filed the case on September 25 with Shah Poran police station accusing the six named and 2-3 unnamed men.
