A woman has allegedly been gang-raped in Siddhirganj upazila of Narayanganj by her brother-in-law and his associate when she went to meet her husband.
The woman filed a case in this regard at Siddhirganj police station on Monday.
The accused has been identified as Md Mohsin, 35, and Ramjan, 32, hailing from Gazipur and Sirajganj respectively, confirmed Siddhirganj police station Officer-in-Charge Kamrul Faruk.
The rape incident took place in a house at Road no 1 in Mijmiji Shahebpara area of Siddhirganj upazila on Sunday.

According to police and the case details, the woman's husband went missing with her younger sister for about a month. She came to Siddhirganj in order to find him and had brought her two and half a year old child along.
On Sunday night, her brother-in-law Ramjan and his associate Mohsin convinced her that they have located her husband and took her to a house in Shahebpara area. Afterwards, they raped her and have since been absconding.
Siddhirganj police station OC Kamrul Faruk on Tuesday said: "The woman's husband has been remaining missing with his sister-in-law for a long time. The woman has already lodged three to four complaints in this regard at different police stations.”
"A complaint of rape has been filed against her brother-in-law and his associate on Monday. We are trying to arrest the suspects," said OC Kamrul adding that one has already been arrested but the person's identity can not be disclosed yet.
