Two cleaners die inhaling toxic gas in Rangpur

Two cleaners have died after inhaling toxic gas while cleaning a septic tank in Radhaballov area in Rangpur city. The deceased are Gangura Chandra, 37, and Samoresh, 30. Kotwali police station Officer-in-Charge ABM Zahidul Islam said the cleaners fell sick soon after they started cleaning the septic tank at the house of a retired army officer on Friday morning. They were taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital where the doctors declared them dead. An unnatural death case has been lodged in this connection with Kotwali police station, the OC added.
