Three men, who are reported witnesses in a case tied to the murder of Major (retired) Sinha Md Rashed Khan, have been remanded for the third time by a Cox's Bazar court, after they came out of four days of interrogation.
The trio -- Nurul Amin, Nizam Uddin and Md Ayas of Marishbunia in Baharchhara, Cox's Bazar --- were put on a three-day remand on Tuesday, said court officials.

They have been also accused in a case filed by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), which is now investigating the incident, in connection with Sinha's murder.
Previously on August 20 and on August 25, the court of senior judicial magistrate Tamannah Farah granted a seven-day and a four-day remand respectively for the trio.

Sinha was on his way back to Nilima Resort in Himchori after filming a video on Marishbunia hill in Teknaf.
On August 5, Sinha's older sister Sharmin Shahriar filed a case with the Judicial Magistrate Court in connection with the murder where 15 people were named as accused.
