The suspected JMB member has been arrested from his home
Police have arrested a member of the banned Islamist outfit Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh or JMB from Kalihati, Tangail.
The suspected outlaw, Ziarul Islam Alias Obaida, 37, was arrested from his house in Bolla area in the early hours of Thursday.
Police made a drive in the area and arrested Ziarul, primarily because he has two cases filed against him at a Narayanganj police station under the Explosives Act. He is also accused in numerous criminal cases, said Kaihati police station OC Hasan Al Mamun.
"We presented him before the court on Thursday," the OC added.
