Police recovered the body of an unidentified man, aged around 20 to 25, in Teknaf upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Tuesday.
The body was recovered at around 10 am from Moheskhaliapara next to Cox’s Bazar-Marine Drive Road, said Pradeep Kumar Das, officer-in-charge (OC) of Teknaf police station.
Locals found the body and informed Teknaf police station of the matter, the OC said.
"The body bore bullet wounds on his chest. The man might have been killed in an internal clash over drugs as police found 4,000 yaba pills on the scen,." Pradeep said.
The body was sent to Cox’s Bazar Sadar Hospital for autopsy and police are working on ascertaining the identity of the man and the actual reason for his death, the police official added.
