The Bangladesh Public University Public Relations Association held a virtual meeting on Saturday to discuss the role and contributions of public universities to tackling the Covid-19 crisis in the country.
Public relations officers of different universities took part in the virtual meeting, where they presented various initiatives the public universities have taken so far to combat the coronavirus crisis in the country.
The virtual meeting was chaired by Abul Kashem Shikdar, director of Information and Public Relations Division of Bangladesh Open University (BOU), while Din Mohammad Dinu, deputy director of Public Relations and Publications of Bangladesh Agricultural (BAU), was the moderator.
Shamsul Alam (Shibli), deputy director at the Public Relations and Press and Publications Office of Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University (MBSTU), was also present at the virtual meeting.
