Some unidentified miscreants hacked a man to death in Jessore on Sunday.
The incident took place in front the Shishu Hospital at Uposhohor area at around 10:30pm.
The deceased was identified as Ehsanul Haque Imu,35.
According to the eyewitnesses, some unidentified miscreants hacked Imu indiscriminately when he was having tea in front the Shishu Hospital in Uposhohor area of Jessore town.
Later, critically injured Imu was taken to Jessore General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Jinnatunnesa, a surgeon of the hospital, said Imu died because of excessive bleeding.
Speaking on the issue, additional superintendent of police Golam Rabbani, said police are conducting raid to detain the killers.
