Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) detained a drug dealer with 400 bottles of Phensedyl from Shikarpur border area of Jessore's Sharsha upazila on Friday.
The detained Khokon Miya, 40, was handed over to Sharsha police station after filing a case in connection, confirmed Lt Col Md Selim Reza, commanding officer of BGB battalion-49 in Jessore.
Acting on a tip-off, a BGB team led by Shikarpur BGB camp commander conducted a raid at Narikelbaria village near Shikarpur border and detained the man with the contraband drugs, said the Lt Col Selim.
