Thirty more people including 18 policemen and an Ansar member were infected with coronavirus in Natore on Monday, raising the total number of confirmed cases to 43 in the district
Natore Civil Surgeon Dr Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune on Tuesday.
"I have been informed of the test result of 30 samples from Dhaka on Monday." said Dr Mizanur Rahman.
Among the infected are also six health workers and one journalist, the Civil Surgeon added, "We have sent 1,257 samples from the district till Monday."
Bangladesh has so far reported 23,870 coronavirus cases and 349 deaths.
