A ready-made garment (RMG) worker has been reportedly raped by two youths on Baliyarpur Bridge, Savar.
The woman filed a case against the two youths with Savar Model police station on Wednesday morning, police sources say.
"Acting on the case, we arrested a man named Ibrahim and are making drives to arrest the other. We are investigating the incident, " said OC Saiful Islam of the station.
The case statement says, the two youths allegedly kidnapped the woman from Maxcom bus terminal by threatening to kill her, around 10pm on Tuesday night. They then took her under the Baliyarpur Bridge on the Dhaka-Aricha Highway the same night.
Later, they forcefully raped her taking turns and left her there, threatening to kill her if she takes any action.
