District administration has announced that Pirojpur will be placed under lockdown until further notice, in a bid to curb the spread of coronavirus (Covid-19).
Pirojpur Deputy Commissioner Abu Ali Md Shazzad Hossain issued a directive in this regard on Thursday.
As per the directive, no one can leave or enter the district during the lockdown.
No vehicles -- except those engaged in emergency services -- will be allowed to ply in the district during the lockdown period.
