The local administration has put Gaibandha district under lockdown in a bid to curb the spread of novel coronavirus.
A notice, signed by deputy commissioner Md Abdul Motin, was issued in this regard around 1pm on Friday.
During the lockdown, no one can leave and enter the district. Emergency services such as medical services, supply chain, etc. will remain out of the purview of the directive, the notice said.
