Man admits he raped a woman, her daughter for years

A 24-year-old man has confessed to raping a woman and her daughter repeatedly for several years, filming his crimes and releasing the videos on the Internet. The Second Sylhet Judicial Magistrate Court Judge Sharmin Khanam Nila on Friday recorded the statement of Nimar Ahmed, 24, son of Abdul Khaleque of Lamadela village in Jaintiapur, and sent him to jail. Nimar confessed that he started exploiting the woman, his neighbour, four years ago. After two years he also trapped her daughter into establishing physical relations with him. Jaintapur police station OC Shafiul Kabir told reporters that Nimar had confessed to forcing the two victims to have sexual relations with him and spreading videos of his sexual exploitation on the internet and among locals. He was arrested from his house on Wednesday night and a memory card containing the relevant video contents was found in his possession, he said.
