A Gazipur court on Tuesday placed four people on a three day remand in a case filed for gangraping a teenage girl at a birthday party in Nayanpur of Sreepur upazila.
The four are: Sharif Hossain, 18, Imran Hasan Sujon, 19, Sharif Uddin Molla, 20, and a 16-year-old boy.
Judge of the Judicial Magistrate Court 3, Md Iqbal Hossain, issued the order for the adults accused, while Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Judge, MLB Misbah Uddin, placed the lone teenager accused on remand, confirmed Gazipur court Inspector Md Rakibul Islam.
The four invited the girl to a birthday party on January 14 where they offered her food laced with sedatives and later raped her.
They were arrested on Saturday after the girl's mother filed a case on January 16.
