A young girl was allegedly gang raped at Satchari National Park of Chunarughat upazila of Habiganj on Tuesday.
The victim, 19, lodged a case with Habiganj Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-2 accusing five people on Wednesday, confirmed its Public Prosecutor (PP) Masum Molla.
The plaintiff, a second year student of Brindaban Government College said in the case statement that she had a romantic relationship with Shamim Ahmed of Batasar village of sadar upazila.
Shamim had engaged in physical relations with her multiple times by promising marriage.
On Tuesday, Shamim took her to the Satchari National Park where he and his associates Fazlur Rahman, 24, Ali Hossain, 25, and Juned Latif, 27 raped her in turns while Akkas Ali stood guard.
Sheikh Nazmul Haque, Chunarughat police station OC assured proper investigation will be done.
Two attempt to rape cases filed in Khulna and Narayanganj
A madrasa student was allegedly sexually harassed in Khulna, a youth was arrested from Narayanganj on charges of rape attempts on two sisters, and another abduction case has been filed in Kurigram after a college girl has been missing for a week.

In Khulna, a madrasa girl was allegedly raped by a youth in Sonadanga area of the city on Tuesday.
Sonadanga Model Police Station OC Momtajul Haque informed that the accused, Arif Billar alias Rajon, of Mallik Road area of Sonadanga, has been arrested on Wednesday after a case was filed in this connection.
According to the case statement, Rajon called the madrasa student to his house on Tuesday evening and violated her, reports UNB.
In Narayanganj Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a man for allegedly attempted to rape and threatening to kill two young sisters by impersonating a military personnel.
He is also accused of spreading indecent photos on social media.
Members of RAB arrested the accused Alamgir Hossain, 25, from Signboard area under Siddhirganj police station of Narayanganj district on Tuesday.
RAB-11 media officer and additional superintendent of police Md Alep Uddin informed that Alamgir confessed to his crimes, admitting he secured a job at Kachukhet Army Store in 2012, where he collected fake identity cards and uniforms to deceive people by identifying himself as a RAB, police or army personnel.
On December 25, he took shelter in the victims' house at Chalakchar area of Manohardi upazila in Narsingdi. He secretly took indecent photos of them, and tried to rape them at night.
He also used the photos to blackmail them in various ways.
On December 30, he abducted the two girls and started for Barishal by launch and tried to rape them in a cabin. He fled the next morning with the victims' mobile phones, gold jewelry, and money.
The family filed a case in this connection.
In Kurigram, a first year student of Government Mir Ismail Hossain Degree College of Rajarhat upazila of the district has been missing for about a week and her father has filed an abduction case against Jitu Chandra Roy at the Rajarhat upazila police station.
Krishna Chandra Sarker, Rajarhat police station OC has confirmed the matter and said: "The victim's father claimed that Jitu has been harassing his daughter and enticing her with marriage proposals. When she told the family about that Jitu kidnapped her."
