More than 170 staff members of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science & Technology University (BSMRSTU) held a demonstration in front of the university administrative building on Tuesday, seeking fulfilment of their three point demand.
The three demands include the payment of their three months’ pending salary, making their jobs permanent, and creation of a permanent guideline for employees to be paid on a daily basis.

The demonstrating staff members said they will continue their protest until their demands are met.
Vice Chancellor of BSMRSTU, Prof Md Shahjahan, said the University Grants Commission (UGC) has been notified of the matter and future steps will be taken according to their instructions.
