A panel chairman of Khulna Zilla Parishad came under bomb attack at Arangghata area of the city on Friday evening.
Sajjadur Rahman Lincoln, the victim, is also the president of Jubo League’s Khan Jahan Ali unit.
He said the attack took place around 8pm when he was passing through the area. Some unidentified miscreants hurled a crude bomb at his car.
“The vehicle was damaged but I’m unhurt,” he added.
Arangghata police station OC Rezaul Karim said they have already visited the spot. “We’re looking into the incident,” he said.
