At least six activists of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal were injured during a clash between JCD and Bangladesh Chhatra League on Jagannath University (JnU) campus on Thursday
Witnesses and students claimed that the clash broke out after Chhatra League activists launched an attack on a Chhatra Dal procession demanding release of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia on the campus around 10am on Thursday.
After the clash, the injured students received treatment at a local clinic.
Kotowali Police's OC Mizanur Rahman told Dhaka Tribune that no case has been filed regarding the incident.
“We are looking into the incident. We will take measures following scrutiny,” he added.
