In Jhenaidah, a man was killed when a three-wheeler he was driving collided head-on with a truck at Bhat-e market area in Shailkupa upazila in the morning.
The deceased was identified as Fazlu Biswas.
In Barisal, a man was killed, and eight others injured when a bus of BMF Paribahan plunged into a roadside ditch at Rahmatpur area of the city in the afternoon.
The deceased was the driver's assistant, Redwan, 18.
In Madaripur, a minor was killed when a truck ran him over in Mohisherchar area of Sadar upazila in the afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Sizan Byapari, 7.
In Naogaon, a truck driver was killed, and 20 others were injured when a bus of Hanif Paribahan collided head on with the truck on the Naogaon-Rajshahi Highway in the afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Rabiul.
In Sherpur, three people were killed, and three others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and an auto-rickshaw in Citholia area of Nakla upazila early yesterday.
The deceased were identified as the auto-rickshaw driver Billal Hossain, 40, and its passenger Habibur Rahman, 55, the other person remain unidentified.
In Sirajganj, a man was killed after a truck ran him over near Hemmadia Dakhil Madrasha in Raiganj upazila in the afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Habibur Rahman Habib, 50.
In Thakurgaon, a truck driver's assistant was killed after his vehicle rammed into a divider on the Thakurgaon-Panchagarh highway, and overturned in the afternoon.
The deceased was identified as Anwar Hossain.
