Police have arrested two madrasa students with 14,000 yaba tablets in Chittagong.
The arrestees were identified as Abu Taher of Cox's Bazar, a student of Patiya Al Jameya Al Islamia, and Md Ehsan Ullah, 20, a student of Jameya Madania Madrasa from Bandarban.
Md Moshin, officer-in-charge of Kotwali police station, said: "Acting on a tip-off, we conducted a drive at a residential hotel in the city and arrested the two men and seized the yaba pills."
Abu Taher procured the yaba pills from Cox’s Bazar to take to Dhaka, the police official added.
